Frequently Asked Questions
Answers about bookings, services, availability, pricing, safety, professionals and support.
What is CareGrid?
CareGrid is a technology-enabled service network for flexible-duration manpower and everyday services, including home help, cooking, care assistance, drivers, skilled services and temporary manpower.
How far in advance should I book?
Advance requests are preferred at least 24 hours before the required service. This gives CareGrid time to check location, availability and suitability.
Can I request service today?
Yes, you may submit a same-day request. It is accepted only when a suitable professional is actually available for the requested location and time.
Can I request a professional for a longer period?
Yes. Choose “Custom / Longer Period” in the request form and tell us the required duration. Longer assignments are assessed separately based on service, availability and commercial terms.
Can I book the same professional again?
Where the professional is available and eligible for the requirement, CareGrid can attempt to support repeat requests. Repeat allocation is subject to availability.
What services can I book?
Home help, cleaning, cooking, nanny/childcare, elder assistance, non-medical patient attendants, drivers, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, technicians, society manpower, office helpers and other eligible services.
Is CareGrid an employer of every professional?
The legal relationship can vary by service and engagement model. The applicable professional terms and commercial arrangement will govern each engagement. CareGrid should not be assumed to employ every service professional merely because a booking is made through the platform.
How does verification work?
Depending on the role, verification may include identity, contact, profile, references, experience, skills and other checks. Verification reduces risk but is not a guarantee of future conduct or performance.
Do clients need to verify the professional?
Yes. Clients should complete their own final verification, access and society/building registration requirements before deployment where applicable.
What if a professional does not arrive?
Contact CareGrid support promptly. Where a suitable alternative is available, CareGrid may attempt a replacement, but replacement depends on real-time supply and location.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Cancellation and rescheduling outcomes depend on booking stage, professional confirmation and the applicable policy. See the Cancellation & Refunds page.
Are materials included for skilled services?
Usually the service/visit covers professional labour unless stated otherwise. Materials, parts, tolls, parking or special expenses may be additional.
Can I book a professional for a monthly arrangement?
Yes. Monthly or retainer-style arrangements may be considered for suitable roles. These are separately scoped around hours, duties, days, salary/payout and CareGrid coordination terms.
Can I use CareGrid for a society or office?
Yes. CareGrid can support temporary housekeeping, helpers, pantry support, events and other eligible commercial or society manpower requirements.
What conduct is prohibited?
Theft, fraud, violence, harassment, abuse, illegal activity, property misuse, unauthorized access and misuse of confidential information are prohibited. The same safety standards apply to clients and professionals.
How do I contact CareGrid?
Use the Contact page or the booking form. CareGrid support can assist with service requests, professional registration and operational questions.
How do I know whether CareGrid serves my PIN code?
Enter your city and, where available, your 6-digit PIN code in the request form. Locations in the current coverage list can be requested subject to professional availability. Other cities and PIN codes can also be submitted for current or future coverage review.
